Global digital monetization company Centili has appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) Kashif Haq, as it continues to strengthen its senior leadership ranks. CIO is another in a series of new positions the company has introduced this year, as it moves to capture the emerging opportunities in mobile payments.

Haq brings in more than 25 years of experience in leadership positions in IT. Based out of the United States, he will provide strategic direction and expertise to all Centili business units. He will supervise the implementation of technology solutions that will continue to drive innovation and operational excellence throughout the organization.

–The arrival of an expert and leader such as Kashif is a great reinforcement for our organization, which has instituted the ambitious Shifting Gears growth strategy. Given his insight and experience, I am fully confident Kashif will quickly become a major contributor to our technical excellence and growth, said Centili Group CEO Zoran Vasiljev.

Haq has most recently served as SVP Technology & Digitization at Apigate, where he defined and led the company’s technology vision and engineering transformation. Before that he was CTO at Axiata Digital, and CIO at Celcom. He held prominent positions at Accenture and other influential companies.

–I am thrilled to join Centili in this compelling time of opportunity and growth, and I am proud to enter the organization which has been consistently rated as one of the best in its field. I look forward to working with the world-class team and contributing to the fulfilment of their bold vision and strategy, Kashif Haq said.
